Neko scores at Shojaei´s debut

Stoke City and Osasuna drawed (2-2) yesterday at Britannia Stadium in the first important test for the reds this month. Cuco Ziganda made his first attempt to elaborate the main team for this season, although there are many players still out of shape who need more minutes.
That was the case of Nekounam and Shojaei, the two iranian players who joined the group lately this summer due to their commitments with their national team. They both had minutes in yesterday´s friendly, replacing in the second half Sunny and Pandiani when Osasuna was losing (2-1). It only took 6 minutes for Neko to score the second goal for the reds with a great header after a corner kick.
The iranian midfielder was very happy after the match: “Everything was right. Mi knee didn´t hurt and i didn´t feel very tired”. Osasuna´s coach, Cuco Ziganda, also spoked about Shojaei, saying he saw him “very determined”. “We need hungry players, willing to parcipate, and Shojaei seems to be one of them”, he said.
Osasuna will play today the second and last match in England against Hull City. Surely Ziganda is going to try a new main team for today; though is difficult that Neko and Shojaei play the full time, they may have some minutes again.
