Osasuna made his debut yesterday in the Reyno de Navarra stadium -with 5.000 supporters in the terraces- against Racing, from the Spanish first division, La Liga.

After a very boring first half, rojillo players reacted for the second, specially improving their offensive play. At the end of the match, local team won 2-1with an outstanding performance by Masoud Shojaei, who took part in both goals. This time, the newbies Santi Ezquerro and Roversio Fernandes were the scorers who lead the team to victory, performing also a hopeful debut.

Anyway, everyone agreed that the best player of the match, even playing for only half an hour, was the iranian Shojaei. “The drawing goal came after a great move of the iranian in the middle field -claims Diario de Noticias-, Shojaei made a triunphant debut”. Leading Pamplona´s newspaper, Diario de Navarra, starts today´s report with the headline “Another pearl from Iran. It´s very soon to discover what this player is able to do, but what has been seen by now is good, very good” -the article says-.

But not ony newspapers recognized him, fans also gave Masoud many applause after any move from the iranian. As season´s start approaches, Shojaei is demonstrating he is more much than just a worthy player for Osasuna.
