La afición muestra su confianza en Aranda

La actuación de Carlos Aranda en Getafe no dejó indiferente a nadie. El delantero malagueño desperdició una buena remesa de oportunidades de gol que a la postre condenaron a Osasuna a la derrota, ante lo que en Blogsasuna decidimos tantear la opinión de la afición rojilla respecto a Aranda. Y las conclusiones son claras: la gente confía en Aranda. Y todo pese a la campaña en favor de Masoud orquestada por la Comunidad Iransuna a través de Persianfootball.com, que a punto estuvo de hacer descarrilar la candidatura del ex numantino.
‘¿Jugarías de inicio con Aranda ante el Atlético después de su actuación ante el Getafe?’, rezaba el enunciado de la encuesta. La opción más votada, ‘Sí, sin duda’, obtuvo el 40% de los sufragios, por el 35% de ‘No, apostaría por Masoud’. El resto de opciones tuvo un apoyo minoritario.
Los jugadores de Irán, censurados y eliminados

Las aguas en Irán bajan revueltas desde hace unos días debido al escándalo surgido en las últimas elecciones del país, que dieron de nuevo como ganador a Mahmud Ahmadineyad, presidente desde 2005. El revuelo provocado por dichos comicios -una parte importante de la población persa exige una repetición- llegó ayer al mundo del fútbol, y en pleno epicentro estuvieron dos jugadores de Osasuna: Javad Nekounam y Masoud Shojaei.
El movimiento opositor al gobierno iraní ha tomado los últimos días las calles de Teherán, portando como estandarte de su protesta banderas verdes, color identificativo del rival de Ahmadineyad, Husein Musavi. Los jugadores del combinado nacional, que ayer se enfrentó a Corea del Sur, quisieron unirse ayer a la movilización y algunos de ellos saltaron al terreno de juego portando brazaletes verdes en señal de apoyo a las reclamaciones de la oposición.

Masoud, Neko y Vadócz jugaron los 90 minutos
Los cinco internacionales rojillos jugaron entre el martes y el miércoles con sus respectivas selecciones. Los iraníes Maosud Shojaei y Javad Nekounam tuvieron en el choque contra Emiratos Árabes Unidos la cita más importante, ya que se trataba del único partido clasificatorio para el Mundial 2010.
Tanto el mediocentro como el extremo saltaron de inicio en Dubai y fue precisamente Masoud el autor del pase en el gol del empate iraní. Una asistencia suya para Karim Bagheri dio a los persas el 1-1 defintivo que les permite seguir vivos en la lucha por ir a la cita mundialista en Sudáfrica dentro de dos años.
Euskadi jugará contra Irán

La selección de fútbol de Euskadi se enfrentará este año en su tradicional partido de Navidades a un combinado conocido por la parroquia rojilla: la selección iraní de Masoud Shojaei y Javad Nekounam.
El encuentro se disputará en San Mamés el próximo 23 de diciembre, víspera de nochebuena, según ha informado hoy la Federación Vasca de Fútbol.
The football team of the Basque Country will play a friendly match against Iran on december 23rd, the Basque Football Federation announced today. The match will be played in Athletic Bilbao’s stadium, San Mamés, and Osasuna’s players Javad Nekounam and Masoud Shojaei will have the opportunity to play against some of their teammates.

Las últimas jornadas de Liga están deparando nefastos resultados para Osasuna. Si bien es cierto que esta pésima racha -ya era mala antes- coincide con la llegada de Camacho al banquillo, tampoco debemos pasar por alto que el peor juego del equipo esta ligado al malísimo estado de forma de Nekounam y Masoud.
La Liga´s last fixtures are bringing awful results for Osasuna. This terrible spell of bad games matches up with the arrival of new coach, José Antonio Camacho -it was bad, but not as bad with Ziganda- but we must not forget about the low form state of the two iranians.

Después de una disputada jornada, la Comunidad Blogsasuna se ha decantado por un estrecho margen por seguir dejando en el banquillo a Masoud Shojaei en el próximo encuentro el sábado ante el Betis. De este modo, a la hora del cierre de la encuesta (16:00 h.), el resultado de la pregunta ‘¿Masoud titular?’ se ha saldado con 32 votos a favor de la suplencia del iraní y 30 votos en contra.

Searching for solutions

After the first six matches, we can now assure that the beggining of this season is not going well for Osasuna. With only four points out of 18, the team is in the 16th position of La Liga. Two goals scored and no victories are far away of being good numbers.
Spectators at Reyno de Navarra stadium were annoyed after the goal of Racing de Santander last sunday and some of them asked for a dimision of the manager, Cuco Ziganda. Patience is running out for many Osasuna fans and what it was supposed to be a very good year is turning slowly to another season of suffering, but is still soon to came to a conclusion and many changes can be done to get a solution.
Believe
No one in Pamplona wants to remember Sunday’s match against Numancia. The good things that Osasuna showed in the previous tests disappeared in just 90 minutes. Cuco Ziganda’s squad didn´t reach the opponents area with danger, and the supporters got really bored.
Anyway, Osasuna is placed in the 14th position of La Liga, with three games played away and just two at home. Next Sunday the players will face Racing Santander, team that is playing the UEFA Cup but still haven´t won in the season.

Osasuna es un equipo de cantera y vendedor, eso lo sabe hasta el menos avispado de la clase. El jugador que destaque sobre el resto durante una o dos campañas tiene todas las papeletas para salir de la entidad rojilla por cantidades más bajas que de tratarse de otro club.
No obstante, esta dinámica parece estar cambiando, y este verano la directiva ha frenado la salida de jugadores como Jaroslav Plasil o Nacho Monreal, remitiéndose a sus respectivas cláusulas de rescisión (ver tabla en la parte inferior).

This new season has begun amazingly for Javad Nekounam. He scored last sunday for Osasuna against Villarreal and he repeated on saturday against Saudi Arabia in the opening game of the qualifiers for World Cup 2010.
The Iransuna connection worked once again, this time not in Pamplona but in Riyadh. A ball from a corner kick was touched by Masoud Shojaei and Javad hit the cross staight into the goal with a strong header. It was the drawing goal. Iran begun their way to the World Cup with a nice result against one of the most important rivals of the group.

La conexión Iransuna funciona también a nivel internacional. Ayer, Javad Nekounam marcó el gol del empate de Irán ante Arabia Saudí en el minuto 82 a pase de Masoud Shojaei, en el encuentro de clasificación para el Mundial de Sudáfrica de 2010 disputado en Riad. Tanto Neko como Shojaei disputaron todo el partido.
El vídeo de la parte inferior recoge las mejores jugadas de la segunda mitad del encuentro, donde Irán se volcó al ataque en busca del empate.

This season, Osasuna’s coach, Cuco Ziganda, has many choices to set up the starting lineup of his team. The attacking line is plenty of quality, with players like Santi Ezquerro, former Barcelona player, Jaroslav Plasil, Dady, Portillo, Kike Sola and Masoud Shojaei.

Due to what has been seen at last training , it´s quite sure that Iranians Masoud Shojaei and Javad Nekounam will be tomorrow at Osasuna´s starting lineup.
Coach Cuco Ziganda has been trying with different combinations for the attack and the most likely option is the one with Plasil at left wing, Juanfran at the right, Santi Ezquerro as the only striker and Masoud Shojaei behind him. Portillo, Dady and Kike Sola will have to wait for an opportunity.
